Password Tips

  • Aim for at least 15 characters. 20 or more is even safer.
  • A long passphrase is stronger than a short, complex password.
  • Use a completely different password for each service. If one leaks, reused passwords on other services can be compromised too.
  • Combining a few unrelated words makes a passphrase that's both long and easy to remember.
  • Generated strings are processed only in the browser and are never sent to a server.
